Alexander Ney (born 1939 in Leningrad) is a Russian artist.
Ney attended the Secondary Art School in Moscow and the Art Academy in Leningrad. He participated in the first underground exhibitions of Leningrad in the 60's. His work is a mirror of ancient civilizations, a way to understand and portray history. He has experimented with the artwork of various cultures. Ney moved to France and then New York City in 1974, where he works and resides.
